I went on a date with a guy I met on Tinder. Upon meeting, I quickly noticed that he didn't look much like his profile pictures, but he was still cute so I didn't worry about it. He asked if I would like to go for a ride on his motorcycle, and of course I said yes! We rode a few miles up to a park. While talking at the park he told me about how he had crashed on his motorcycle SEVERAL times, which resulted in a few broken bones (note to all boys, do NOT tell a girl how many times you've crashed anything when she's riding with you). Now I was terrified to get back on his motorcycle, and the ride back to his place felt horribly long. After our trip to the park, we went out to lunch where he then disclosed to me that he had been married before, but only for a year. This came as a shock. Now I have nothing against men who are divorced, but given that I was still in my early 20's and had never been married myself, I was nervous about starting a relationship with someone who appeared to have a lot of baggage. The rest of lunch was fine, but then that evening we went on a double date (with two of my friends) to a drive-in movie. He complained the whole night and that the car was too small several times (we were in a large suburban), and I was really embarrassed because my friend had gone through the trouble of borrowing the suburban from his parents, and here was my date being incredibly rude. After the movie we went home and after an awkward hug (pretty sure he wanted a kiss) I said I would message him the next day, which I never did.
