love at first swipe

Ryan downloaded Tinder hoping to "hit up" some girls, but not necessarily looking for a relationship. Meeting his future wife was not part of the plan. According to Ryan, "It just happened." When he first matched with Kendra, he thought she was a scam, but she kept the conversation going. Kendra used Tinder to make friends and date a bit, but also not looking for a relationship. A week after they started talking, they exchanged snapchat information to make sure they were both real people. After a few weeks, they exchanged phone numbers. Keeping communication through texting, snapchatting, and calling, it took them about two months to actually meet in person. Since Kendra lived hours away, she traveled down one weekend and decided to meet. Terrified thinking she was going to get murdered, she met him at a friend's house in the dark. Ryan had friends with him so it wasn't a sketchy environment and made it easygoing, while Kendra thought it was a little overwhelming meeting everyone at first. But Ryan and Kendra hit it off and went on another date the next night. Their first kiss was on their third time of meeting. They became official after four months of meeting. And finally got engaged a year and a half after dating. The rest is history. This cute couple is not ashamed to say they met on Tinder, but of course when older folk ask, they make up a story.
